I recently purchased some wonder clips (not that brand) but they are the same product. I have around 75 all up, the 50 I purchased were from Fabric Trove and they are pretty cheap. However I found this listing for a cute tin to place them in with over 100 clips. Really great price on Amazon and free shipping. Amazon.

I use them when I apply zips, doing over locking and any garment construction. No more pin pricks and a great accessory for your sewing kit.

If you are like me, then you will relate to purchasing PDF patterns and having to print the A4 version, taping together, and the time and effort that takes. I recently printed a pattern with 82 pages. Not only are you wasting paper but also your printer’s ink too. So, I thought other than Officeworks, where the heck can you get these files printed.

I did an extensive Google search and came across a post about this very subject. They recommend a company in NSW called LINDFIELD PRINT. Give them a call, they emailed me a link to upload my A0 files and then sent me a quote. These prices were quoted to me.

Qty 1-4: $5.50 each inc GST

Qty 5-19: $4.65 each inc GST

Qty 20-49: $3.85 each inc GST

Qty 50-99:$3.30 each inc GST

I think yes there is the extra cost however, if you have so many patterns, how much A4 sheets of paper are you printing, not to mention the actual printer ink. So I guess you have to weight it up.

Another thing about this Print company is that they actually print patterns for another client, ie a business that sells patterns. So you can rest assured that you will get your files printed correctly.

Let me know how you went, I am in the process of getting some done too so I’ll report back once I get my order.

COMMUNITY NOTICE – 

For those not in Victoria, since March 1 this year, a bush fire 🔥 has been burning in the Bunyip State Park. Fire was started by lightning strikes. So far approximately 16,000 hectares have been burnt, including 29 houses, countless farm sheds and fencing, the majority of which occurred in the Tonimbuk area. Tonimbuk is essentially Bunyip North.

Craft days have been organised for late May to make care quilts for those who lost homes in the fire. Donations of materials and people power by way of sewers has been called for.
